Japan Trip Day 4: Shinjuku > Meiji Shrine > Shibuya Crossing > BAPE Store

Forth day in Japan willl be a money burning day as we choose to walk around the city area
Supposingly the schedule should be walk from
Shinjuku > Harajuku > Shibuya
But I was not feeling well on that day so I have postponed some places to the next following days

Since I was not feeling well on that day
I have took lesser pictures compared to the past few days
Even though we went to Shinjuku,
but there is nothing much for me to walk though
except visiting the Isetan to shop for YSL
and visit Isetan food heaven places where you will see a lot of nice tiny food displayed inside the glass cabinet.

Oh ya , we have bought a 3 days of metro DAY PASS which can take the metro line for unlimited times which cost around 1500yen for 3 days
It is more worth for us if we would plan to travel to many places via the metro line.
After Shinjuku, we took metro line to Meiji Shrine Station
and Meiji Shrine is just beside the station only after walked for 10 mins to step out from the station
But I will recommend to take JR line to reach at Harajuku Station which is much nearer to Harajuku and Meiji Shrine

We have to walked almost 1 kilometres of distance to reach the main place
I was like : OH MY GOD ! I am going to faint soon !

After walked for 20 minutes, we reached the main gate finally.
Omg, I was like THANK GOD ! I just did it !

Same to Asakusa Temple, we have to wash our hands and gargle with it before we enter the temple.

It was such a great opportunity for us to witness the Japanese wedding ceremony
Their wedding ceremony is so quiet and strict
No one is smiling or showing happy face, they just walked to the temple with no expression face.
Unlike Malaysia, our wedding ceremony is much more full of happiness and joyness.
I prefer Malaysia wedding ceremony compared to Japan one.

Wishing cards was written at here if you wish something to come true,
The wishing cards behind me become my background of the photo.

Once we walked out from the Meiji Shrine exit,
we were lost as the entrance and exit of Meiji Shrine was different at all
So end up we have to use google maps to search for nearest station
and is quite far from Harajuku Station already
So we just take the metro train to Shibuya directly

Shibuya is famous in their Shibuya crossings
and that day was a weekend, so I bet the shibuya crossing will not disappointed us
and yes, the crowded was insane !
We still can saw few photographers setting up their camera to shoot the spectacular crossing.

Let see how spectacular Shibuya Crossing was !

After 3 continuous days of eating ramen, my mom and I was quite bored on Ramen and was like hunting for others food besides Ramen.

So we just stopped by a Hong Kong restaurant in Shibuya
and had a great lunch with our chinese-used-to-have meals

We ordered 2 different flavours of fried rice and a bowl of egg soup.
It cost around 1900 yen for 2 fried rice and a bowl of soup.
But the food taste nice except the soup.

After lunch, we shop for Anello bags and jackets
I saw many people wearing this kind of jackets nowadays walking on the street
so I would like to tried something new for me too as my boyfriend owned a piece of jacket with this kind of color too, thought of having a couple jacket with him but we never wore together at all after I bought. LOL

That day was the day we bought a lot of ANELLO bags too !
I thought it was hard to find ANELLO bags in Tokyo as we cant find any of it when we were in Shinjuku
But we found that Harajuku and Shibuya shops selling a lot of design of Anello bags !
My mom was kinda regret when she bought the bag too early when there is limited design to choose only in the previous shop
Don't buy Anello bags too early if you would like to have more designs to choose with.
Go for Harajuku street, there will be tons of it at there.

Shibuya is an interesting place to walk thou as you will see many kinds of interesting things and selling interesting items that you may not discover yet in your life

I visited Shibuya Bape Store too as BAPE is their Japan branding and it sell much cheaper for sure
Many people who love streetwear style will come for it and buy their favourite BAPE wearings.
I have to queue up before I can enter the store as they allowed a certain number of customers enter to the BAPE store only. Ridiculous right?
But Bape is considered a branding in Japan so it is common for them.

After Bape store, we ended our day as the sun going to set soon
and I was not feeling well at all
so we rest earlier on that day.

Please stay tuned for the Japan Trip Day 5 ya.
More interesting pictures to come.

Japan Trip Day 3: Hakone Day Trip > Mount Fuji

The third day in Japan is the only one that I love the most!
It was the day we went out of Tokyo for sightseeing purpose.
Mount Fuji viewing place is the place that is a must go place to see the significant mountain
and of course I will guide you on how to reach there from Tokyo.

The place we were heading to will be Hakone
It took 2 hours journey from Tokyo city
so if you wish to have sufficient time to enjoy your day at Hakone
make sure you book the earliest time of bus to reach there as
Time is limited. Japan sunset time is much earlier than Malaysia
and the more earlier you go, the more thing you can explore.

We had booked the bus to Hakone since yesterday at Tourist Information Counter
You can book via their metro bus website directly
but I would suggest you go to the tourist centre and ask
as they will guide you the way to reach the bus station too
You know Tokyo station is HUGE !
Get a guidance from there is much more better than you lost yourselves and miss the bus.

Initially I had booked the bus time which departed at 830am
but we had reached 1 hour earlier as we afraid of getting lost in the station
so we choose to come out earlier to find the bus station
and Japanese is very kind,
they allowed everyone of us to take earlier bus if the bus has extra empty seat
so the bus we took end up was 730am departed from Shibuya Station

Notes :
Step 1 : Bought the bus ticket from Tourist Information counter
Step 2 : Choose the station departed : Shinjuku, Shibuya or Tokyo Station
Step 3 : Choose the time departed
Step 4 : Pay on the actual day when you reach the station

The bus fare cost 1800 yen per pax for single way only
You can choose to buy return ticket straight away if you confirm what time you going to leave from Hakone.

The bus journey took 2 hours to reach Hakone Bus Station
The bus did not stop along the whole journey
but don't worry, the bus did provide toilet facility.
Before reaching Hakone, we saw the peak of the Fuji Mountain along the road.

We reached Hakone Station after 2 hours
and the first thing we did was queing to buy the return ticket
as the japanese here good in english communication
so we seek for her suggestion and bought the return ticket from her suggested time
but too bad that the only last bus left was 4pm which was quite earlier for us
others later than that was fully booked already.

So, we just booked 4pm return tokyo bus ticket at 1750yen which cost much cheaper.
and of course we queue and bought the pass to travel around Hakone for Mt Fuji view
It cost 2600yen for 2 days pass on Ropeway ( Cable car) + Ferry Ride + Bus
The bus can took unlimited time as you want for the 2 days
while ropeway and ferry ride only took once on it.

The bus for Hakone trip have 3 types of buses
Red Line , the frequent one come every 15 minutes
Green Line , come every 30 minutes
Blue line, one day only available for 4 time slots only

and of course the red line stop at nearby stations while blue line is the farest and many stops on the tourist spots.

We took the red line bus to reach the ferry ride jetty and use the ticket on ferry ride at first.

It was freaking cold out there and luckily the ferry provided indoor for us to get warm

You will see the Mt Fuji from the ferry ride and it was situated super near to you.

The peak of the mountain was covered with snow and it is kinda hard for us to took a picture that can see the peak of Mt Fuji obviously.

The ferry ride took around 15 minutes only
and after the ferry ride
we explored the shops around since we were starving like hell since 10am morning.

I can't resist on taking picture with the snow
Hakone was falling snow since yesterday and thank god today was a great day which can see Mt Fuji clearly.
Oh ya remember to check the weather forecast to make sure you can see the Fuji Mountain clearly

We stopped by at the Hakone Restaurant 河口湖莊
where situated opposite to the ferry ride jetty

The price of the food is quite expensive
but we have predicted as that as it was a tourist place

Our ordered food

Ramen 800yen

Hot Pot Noodle 1500 yen

The noodles are quite famous at there
but it taste like super normal to me and I prefer Malaysia noodles more than here
But the Hotpot did warm my stomach and make me feel warm indeed.

Since the ropeway cable car is not far from the ferry ride jetty,
you just need to cross the road and walk further abit to reach the cable car station

Earlier of March is not a peak season time in Japan
so we not need to have a long queue at all to ride on the cable car.

The incredible view of Hakone taking from the cable car

The top view of Mt Fuji after we stepped out from the cable car

It was much cooler at top hill here as we were on the upper hill !
Everywhere deposited the snow along the road side , even the staircase also.

The Mt Fuji was behind me but the white color of the peak mountain is not obvious at all.

Snowball time !

Back to the cable car and go down to the normal street
Walked into a special cookie shop
which selling cookies with Mt Fuji shape
so cute !

After visiting the cookie shop and a bakery shop,
we took the red line bus to the Hakone Natural Living Shop
The view of Mt Fuji at here is super nice !
Clear view and the shop is selling variety of souvenirs and food which attracted my mom.

Clear view of Mt Fuji with lake view.

In love with here !

The time passed super fast and we dont have much time to explore the place one by one
so I told my mom that we should tried the green line at least once
so we took the green line bus and enjoy the view along the long journey road
We stopped at Wind Cave as wind cave is quite famous at Hakone
But the entrance fee to see the wind cave cost around 300 yen, taking around 20 mins

While walking to the wind cave counter
the road was full of snow and it was quite slippery.
But trust me ,
you will get excited just like I did if you love snow too

We didnt make it to the wind cave at last as our time is almost near to the time we need to sit the bus back to tokyo. so to avoid we miss the bus, we just visit around outside the wind cave
but you shall visit it if you have sufficient of time in Hakone.

So end up we still unable to catch the bus that we bought one
but I was thank god that I show my tickets to the green line bus driver
he told me that I was not able to make it to get on the bus
but he was so kind that he helped me contact the bus station and help me switched to another bus which departed at 15 minutes after
so when we reached Hakone station, we just followed what he said to go to No.3 bus station to get on the bus
Omg, Japanese is so kind ! I love their attitude and behaviour !!

Our bus headed back to Shinjuku station
and we had our dinner at Shinjuku

The restaurant is supeeeeer small and squeeze

But still
My mom love her Dan Dan Spicy Ramen

I had my original ramen since the meat is going to take out and gave to my mom.

Our dinner cost around 1800 yen for 2 persons
and on the way heading back to our homestay,
we walked around our homestay area and took some picture in Tokyo which you only can found and saw in Japan one.

You know ? I know, is 24 hours man !

Their sushi is super delicious !
Any restaurant also taste super nice.

Gaming centre for the boys.

Supermarket at night

Pick a girl ! It is legal in Tokyo.

Stay tuned for my next Day 4 post.
xoxo
